Angel Fire is offering more terrain, more options, and more fun!
Angel Fire was honored as having the Number 1 Terrain Park in North America by OnTheSnow.com in 2008 and, new this winter and by popular demand, they have added a fourth glade skiing park. Check out the new “Bear Glade” on the backside of Angel Fire’s mountain. They now offer 74 named trails on 550+ skiable acres, with two terrain parks, extensive cross-country loops, and a three-lane tubing hill for day and nighttime fun.
Off the mountain, Angel Fire Resort’s slopeside hotel—now The Lodge at Angel Fire-- has undergone a major renovation. From the stunning, new front entry, to the expanded fitness center, redesigned restaurants, retail and lobby areas, you’ll experience firsthand a whole new level of mountain hospitality delivered with pride in Angel Fire.
Terrain Parks
Two awesome freestyle parks have helped cement Angel Fire Resort's position as the snowboarding capital of New Mexico. This was the site of the USASA Snowboard Nationals in 2004, and their rails, jumps, tabletops and fun boxes are open challenges to freestyle skiers, as well as boarders.

Liberation Park is New Mexico's biggest freestyle terrain park with its own dedicated chairlift. Features include 20' and 25' table tops; 25' jump/roller; 40' table top; 10' Rainbow rail; 35' Flat-Down rail; 15' House rail; 15' Rainbow Box; 25' House Box; 30' C-Rail Box; 25' Whale Box; and of course the 20' Short Bus.
Their Lowrider freestyle park is the perfect place for experienced skiers and boarders to develop or hone their freestyle skills on short rails, fun boxes, jumps and rollers. Their Freeride Workshop, which takes place right in the park, will have you catching big air in no time!
Whether you are looking for a slopeside condominium or a clean, affordable room, Gateway Reservations has many options for you to choose from.
